Tone Addict Pickups started out of an obsession with the small details that make a guitar feel alive: the way a note blooms, the way chords stay open, the way a pickup responds differently when you back off your touch or lean into the amp.

My work is inspired by great vintage pickups, and the artists that made us love them. However, I do not believe players should have to accept all the drawbacks that came with vintage inconsistencies. My approach is to capture the character, feel, and response of those classic tones; while building pickups with the consistency and reliability that modern players expect.

Each pickup is hand-wound with a strong focus on balance, dynamics, and feel. Some are voiced for sparkle, clarity, and articulate clean tones. Others push further into thicker mids, more output, and the kind of drive that suits blues rock and harder classic styles. Across the board, the goal stays the same: expressive pickups that sound alive in real guitars, through real amps, in real playing situations.
