The First Dawn Pickup Set for Stratocasters is a late-’60s inspired, hand-wound set with a slightly fuller voice and a woody, vocal neck pickup at its centre. It has rich, singing mids, a soft-edged top end, and a tight low end that still thumps when you lean into it. There is plenty of treble on tap, but none of the brittle “ping” that can make brighter vintage Strat pickups feel sharp or spiky.
